MAKE IT FOUR IN A ROW FOR THE KAMLOOPS HEAT

Kamloops, BC — The Kamloops Heat have moved to 4 and 0 in the Pacific Coast Soccer League's Women's Reserve Division. The Heat battled back from a 1-0 first half deficit to down the hometown Penticton Pinnacles 2-1. The Pinnacles fall to 3 and 1.

PCSL Women's League leading scorer Nicole Fraser gave the home side the early lead beating Heat keeper Shannen Meyer (TRU, Kamloops, BC) at the 44 minute mark. The Heat came back with two goals of their own in the second half. Kelli Chamberlain, who plays for Queens University had both goals for the Heat. They came at the 65 th and 85 th minute marks. she now has five goals on the season.

The Heat are made up primarily of current players and prospects of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack. Their next matches are on the coast next weekend (June 6-7) against Richmond and Coquitlam.
