The top 4 Teams at the conclusion of regular play will play for the SheilaAnderson Memorial Challenge Cup on the July.29/30 weekend. Venue to beannounced. The 2017 opened at Thunderbird Stadium with an exciting game betweenVancouver Thunderbirds & Port Moody SC., resulting in a 3-3 tied game.League Officials have attended all games played in the month of May and they have been impressed with quality of play & teams player discipline. The league is making every effort to provide top Game Officials but pleasecontact Doug Summers Head Referee if you have any questions or comments.A reminder that Phil Fasciglione requires Teams Managers cooperation with PlayersRegistrations. This is ongoing problem with the many obstacles we haveto overcome with BCSA. Please forward Player Registration Payments for those players that have not been registered with a BCSA affiliated league in the winter season. Also clubs should make sure their League Fees to the PCSL are paid to Treasurer, Joe Hrgovic. The League Website and Facebook page are available to all teams to submit game pictures, reports and any related soccer news. Good luck to all the teams in the 2017 season.

As one of the many accolades to Bill for his service to the PCSL, Robert Lane, from Seattle
writes "Bill was a key component, such a driving force behind all of what
Len McAdams (Past President) and their fellow PCSL Board of Directors were
trying to accomplish, which was to make the League the best of its kind, and to
embrace and embellish the true fibers of organized athletics, which was promoting
good sportsmanship between all, from the top to the bottom, be it
administrators, club and team officials, referees, players and even fans; Both
Bill and Len were true advocates of this credo, and it was a true pleasure to
have my teams participate in their great League!
was a GREAT sport, let that be known!
helped to establish the PCSL as one of the region's most respectable and
prestigious arenas for the best amateur and semi-pro teams to participate in.
will always be grateful, as with all the men and women who played for Seattle
Hibs and Caley Saints, proudly doing so under the PCSL banner, in part, to a
great extent, because of good people like Bill, who were always rolling up
their sleeves, never bemoaning the endless hours of work they were putting in,
likely double that of the team heads, all to make others feel welcome and
included in the PCSL vision, to give team management and their players the best
footballing experience on offer.
you, Bill, and all the best in the years ahead.
You will never be forgotten and will always be an example to myself and
countless others, by virtue of your stellar team oriented attributes...for
helping others to enjoy sport and the good life that supports it.
